Winning the Battle Against Sin
Sin no longer condemns the Christian, but it still drags. Romans 8 promises no condemnation for those in Christ, yet it calls believers to put sin to death so they can run with endurance and real joy. Colossians 3 shows sin actively at war against peace and relationships, while the Holy Spirit fights back, covering believers in Christ's righteousness like a robe. Victory does not come from willpower. The Spirit is sovereign, pursues holiness, and will complete His work. John 15 grounds it all: Jesus is the true vine, and apart from Him nothing good is possible. God prunes what is already alive to produce more fruit, not less.
