Ruth

Famine drives Elimelech's family from Bethlehem to Moab, where death leaves Naomi bitter and alone. Her Moabite daughter-in-law Ruth clings to her and to the God of Israel, returning to Bethlehem empty-handed. Through gleaning, a midnight proposal, and a kinsman redeemer named Boaz, God orchestrates every detail to restore what was lost. Naomi's bitter emptiness gives way to joy as her grandson becomes the ancestor of King David and ultimately Jesus Christ. The story reveals how God transforms brokenness into redemption, emptying us of self-pity and pride so He can fill us with His purposes and glory.
